The Bush family invited Trump so he would not attack them during the funeral, they also will not let him speak for the same reason.

The House will impeach Trump.
The Senate will not convict.
Trump will be re-elected in 2020, with the public so disgusted with the clown show the House puts on, the Republicans will regain their majority by 20 seats.

Only in your wet dreams.

House and Senate, dead on.
You need 67 votes in the Senate to convict and remove. How do you plan to do that with 52/3 Republicans?
Your only chance of removal is embarrassing Trump so much he resigns. He is incapable of being embarrassed. Nixon resigned because he felt it was his patriotic duty to not put the country through the ordeal. And this was right after a landslide victory in the elections. Trump’s landslide?. I see no such sense of patriotism with Trump. It’s all about him.

Look at the backlash against the Republicans when Clinton was impeached. That was a foolhardy exercise at best. Rasmussen has shown Trump up to 51% approval, even on days the media were creaming their pants over “bad day for Trump”.

We both know Rasmussen is a right-wing poll. I don't know what Mueller has or if it will be enough to get Trump impeached. Shrug, fun times.

Rasmussen, which is consistently biased in favor of Conservatives, is at 47%, not 51 and has rarely, ever, topped 50%.

The Democrats will not impeach unless Mueller has a super smoking gun that pulls even Republicans over into the 'get out' camp (ala Nixon in 74). Trump will be a lot easier to beat than Pence and they are well aware of the Clinton impeachment fiasco. Pelosi will keep the more aggressive members in line for the next two years.

The Republicans did indeed get slaughtered. The swing in seats was the largest Democrat gain since 1974 (Nixon and Watergate) and the total differential margin in House cumulative popular vote was the largest ever. The Republican Party lost both young 18-30 and early middle age 30-44 voters in every state, red, blue, purple and genuine disgust for those groups with the Orange Draftdodger is running in excess of 60%. Trump is setting the stage for a significant Democratic margin in 2020 in which 22 of 33 Senate seats are held by Republicans and given the broad likelihood of a recession or at a minimum, pullback, the economy will not favor Fat Boy.

Time and demographics are absolutely working in favor of the Democrats although it is never wise to underestimate their ability to form a circular firing squad in the scrimmage between moderates and progressives. They have shown an uncanny ability to screw up the unscrewable pooch but every day more elderly fearful white Trump voters die and more young, brown and unafraid of 'others' voters become eligible. I believe it is absolutely guaranteed Trump will not change and he will continue to weekly alienate the younger, browner and female voters right up until he loses the election by a larger margin than his 2016 win and immediately blames, without a shred of proof, massive voter fraud.
